UTMB Eryri 25k

This is quite possibly the most challenging – and beautiful – 25km race I have ever competed in! Stunning scenery (thankfully the weather was amazing on the day), varied technical terrain, and great organisation of the event overall.

The one hydration checkpoint was underwhelming (just water and coke, no sign of snacks at all! If they did exist then they certainly weren’t promoted by the volunteers…) which was disappointing considering the high entry price.

I also had higher expectations of the atmosphere at the ‘festival village’ area.
